Project Feasibility Study

Project feasibility study is also known as “Bankable Project Studies” because it is one of the major requirements of lending institutions in processing of commercial, industrial or agricultural loan applications.

A feasibility study contains different chapters that will provides information if the proposed project would be financially, economically, technically and socially feasible. Some components of a feasibility study includes executive summary, background study, objectives, project schedule, project cost, deliverables, constraints and assumption, conclusion, and recommendation

A good feasibility study should know the nature of the proposed project well by having technical assistance from qualified experts. Also, feasibility study should be loaded with statistics, documents, data and information needed for the study from available sources. These data and information should analyze and evaluate correctly. In addition, estimation and projection should always close to realities as possible. Last but not the least organize your feasibility study and write it properly.
Always remember conducting a feasibility study is very beneficial to the project because it gives a clear picture of your idea. These benefits are the following:

  • It identifies the objectives to do the project
  • It gives you the complete assessment of the project
  • It provides the time table for the project
  • It helps in decision making of the project
  • It delivers documented status to the business

Sample Introduction, Product Overview and Rationale

Introduction

Annual Website is a window based processing software.  It provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for inputting and modifying changes.  Also, it allows the user to choose what they want to click in the site.
Systems Requirements are as follows:

Hardware Requirements:

•    At least Pentium 500 MHz Processor
•    At least 64 MB of RAM
•    At least 2950 MB of 8212 MB Free Hard Disk Space
•    Standard Mouse
•    Keyboard

Software Requirements

•    Microsoft Windows 98/2000
•    Microsoft FrontPage 2000
•    Corel Draw 8
•    Internet Explorer

Overview of the Product

Annual Website is application software that access Web Pages through which you can avail of different topics or information within the Department of ComSci.  Basically, it serves as an annual or yearbook which is yearly by Bataan Heroes Memorial College.

Rationale of the Product

Annual Website is for keeping that information in a more understandable representation.  It initiates a home page in which you can easily access with other pages.  It is easier for the students to search in just one click of your mouse. Also, it is very convenient to use.

Sample Related Literature for the Design and Fabrication of Manual Flat Bar Bender

sample related literatureIn this modern age, where bending of metals are fully automated, only few metal shops can afford sophisticated types of bending tools because of high cost.  Hence, improvised means of bending tools are adopted. Such tools are bending forks and jigs.

Bending forks are used to form a scroll or an irregular curve.  A simple fork can be made by bending a piece of rod with a diameter of 12 mm. or less into the shape of a U.  The opening in the U should be just large enough to allow the metal slip to pass through easily.  Another type of bending fork is made from a square metal block in which holes are drilled at varying distances.  Two steel pins are made to fit easily into these holds.  These pins can be moved to allow different metal thickness and types of scrolls (Ferrer, 1979).  This is where flatbar bender was designed for.

Another type of bending tool is the bending jig.  Several bands can be made on single rod or by devising a shop-made bending jig.  Jigs such as these must be designed and built whenever bending is involved in a mass production activity.

At present, a hydraulic flat bar bender is being developed to make the bending of metal to form angles, scrolls, circles, curves much easier by just pumping the device that would make the bending mechanism, move to the metal to be bent.
